1.3. Characteristics of the group in which the program is being implemented:
The work program is intended for students with disabilities with a mild degree of disability and mental retardation. This group of listeners is characterized by:
- reduced performance due to emerging phenomena of psychomotor disinhibition and excitability;
- low level cognitive activity and slow rate of information processing;
- instability of attention, impaired speed of attention switching, its volume is reduced;
- memory is limited in volume, short-term over long-term, mechanical over logical;
- visual-effective thinking is developed to a greater extent than visual-figurative and especially verbal-logical thinking;
- there are mild disturbances of speech functions;
- lack of formation of voluntary behavior such as mental instability, disinhibition of drives, educational motivation;
- limited ideas about the outside world;
- are characterized by increased impressionability (anxiety), react painfully to the tone of voice, notice the slightest change in mood;
- characterized by increased fatigue. They quickly become lethargic or irritable and have difficulty concentrating on a task. If they fail, they quickly lose interest and refuse to complete the task;

1.1 Scope of the program
The program is part of the variable component of the main professional educational programs of primary and secondary vocational education, developed in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Secondary Professional Education.
The discipline program is intended for educational institutions of secondary vocational education. The discipline program is universal and can be used in professional training in vocational education professions.

3.3. General requirements to the organization educational process by discipline.
IN thematic plan The curriculum of the academic discipline includes 9 topics that reflect the theoretical and practical aspects of social adaptation in modern socio-economic conditions.
The main technology for implementing the discipline is problem technology, aimed at developing experience in solving problems in the field of Sociology and adaptation in modern socio-economic conditions.
For each topic of the discipline, it is necessary to develop a package of information and methodological materials, including plans for educational tasks, didactic tools, diagnostic techniques. The design of educational tasks must be carried out taking into account the principle of cooperation, activation of students' activities, individualization and differentiation. When implementing plans training sessions it is advisable to use various shapes organizations and methods of activity of students: business and role-playing games, discussions, seminars, heuristic conversations, mini-lectures, group consultations, analysis and discussion of specific situations. Practical tasks and exercises, self-guided learning methods.
